Do we just drive or do we
stop to visit places? Do we get any narration?
How are we
going to be able to hear the instructions and the

Where does the
tour start from?
Obviously, the golf

Why
should we tour Rome by golf cart instead of driving in a
regular car or walk around?
Driving
around the city in a regular car you are forced to drive
on the main streets with all the traffic, noise and
limited visibility. The main, wide and long, streets of
Rome were built in the 1900's to keep the traffic off
the narrow old streets, but the back narrow streets
are Rome. When you drive around in a
regular car you end up missing the best of what this
city has to offer and you just go where all the other
tourists go. We try not to drive on the main streets to
avoid traffic, noise, fumes... and other tourists :) !!!

Where
do the golf cart tours go?
Anywhere
within the city of Rome basically, wherever you like to
go.. We let you design your itinerary if you like and
help you with that if asked. If you have no idea of what
you want to see we design the tour according to your
taste and tailor it accordingly. We can take you to see
the major highlights as well as the out-of-the-way
places that not many tourists get to see. In practice,
since we try to avoid the main streets, even when the
tour is centered on the fundamental sites we end up
showing a lot of things that are off the beaten track
because that's where we drive!

Are the
golf carts street legal?
Yes. They
come with lights, license plate, horn, seat belts and
anything else required by the European laws for a
vehicle to drive on the streets.

How
many passengers can you take in a golf cart?
Each golf
cart can accommodate driver plus three passengers.
Therefore for groups larger the three people more than
one golf cart will be needed. The additional cars can be
driven by a member of the group or, if needed, we will
provide an additional driver. The cost of the additional
golf cart is 60 Euros for the half day and 115 Euros for
the Full day. The cost of the additional driver is 60
Euros for the half day and 115 Euros for the Full day.
Those who
will decide to drive the additional carts themselves
instead of hiring a second driver will be given all the
necessary assistance by the driver of the leading cart
who will always make sure they don't get left behind.

If we
tour by golf cart, do we just drive or do we stop to
visit places? Do we get any narration?
Oh yes! You
make frequent stops and you're told about the places you
see or visit, not only that, if you like we stop for you
to have a fabulous ice cream, lunch or coffee. We know
the best places for these things and we'll be pleased to
take you there!

How are
we going to be able to hear the instructions and the
commentary if we drive in a motorcade?
When more
than one cart will be needed, all the passengers and
drivers will be supplied with earpieces by which they
will be continually in touch with the driver of the
leading cart who'll speak to them through a microphone.
There's an additional cost for this: 2 Euros per peron
for the half day tour and 3 Euros per person for the
full day.

Where
does the tour start from?
We will come
to meet you at your hotel and start the tour from there,
but not if your hotel is located outside of the old
city, which means outside the belt old Roman Walls. The
average driving range for a golf cart is 80 kilometers
(50 miles) per day which is more than a full day tour of
Rome requires, but does not allow us to come and meet
you at your hotel if this is not in proximity of the old
city. Many of the hotels located outside the historical
center of the city have shuttles that drive their guests
to the city center on a regular schedule, when this is
the case we go and meet our clients where the hotel's
shuttle drops them off, otherwise we will discuss the
most convenient meeting point with them.

Obviously, the golf buggies are not air conditioned so,
isn't it too hot to drive around in a golf cart in the
Summer?
Naturally hot
is hot and this means that it's hot in an air
conditioned car too! When your tour around Rome you make
frequent stops to go and see places and, in most cases,
while you're gone the car is parked in the sun. This
means that when you get back to it it's as hot as an
oven. So hot that you have to open the windows as you
start driving, then it starts to cool off, but by that
time you have arrived at your next stop! The golf buggy
instead is completely open and as you start driving you
feel the breeze, always present in Rome, all over your
body. The golf cart also has a roof that keeps the seats
and the occupants in the shade and, last but not least,
it is so little that, when we have to park it, we always
manage to find a little shady spot for it. In addition
to all this, one has to consider that we mostly drive
through the quaint narrow streets and they're always
shady and cool.

How
long does the tour last?
The shortest
tour is four hours, but you can go for the whole day if
you like, and that's actually the best tour!
If you like
you can also rent for multiple days and we'll always
have new places to show you!
